The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2024. This exam is for recruiting approximately 17,727 Group B and Group C posts across various Ministries/Departments/Organizations of the Government of India and other bodies.

1. Assistant Section Officer – Central Secretariat Service, Ministry of External Affairs, Railway, AFHQ, Electronics and Information Technology, Other Ministries/Departments/Organizations
   • Age Limit: 20-30 years (varies by ministry)
2. Assistant Section Officer – Intelligence Bureau
   • Age Limit: 18-30 years
3. Inspector of Income Tax – CBDT
   • Age Limit: 18-30 years
4. Inspector (Central Excise, Preventive Officer, Examiner) – CBIC
   • Age Limit: 18-30 years
5. Assistant Enforcement Officer – Directorate of Enforcement, Department of Revenue
   • Age Limit: 18-30 years

Eligibility Criteria for SSC CGL Recruitment 2024

• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC: 3 years
  • PwD (Unreserved): 10 years
  • PwD (OBC): 13 years
  • PwD (SC/ST): 15 years
• Educational Qualification:
  • Junior Statistical Officer: Bachelor’s Degree with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level; or Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the subjects.
  • Statistical Investigator Grade-II: Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the subjects.
  • Research Assistant in NHRC: Bachelor’s Degree. Desirable: One-year research experience or a Degree in Law/Human Rights.
  • All Other Posts: Bachelor’s Degree.

Candidates in their final year of graduation can also apply but must have the required qualification by 01-08-2024.
