Eligibility Criteria for IBPS RRB 2024
Nationality/Citizenship
- Indian citizens, or subjects of Nepal/Bhutan
- Tibetan refugees who came to India before January 1, 1962
- Persons of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries, etc., intending to settle in India permanently
Language Proficiency
Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the RRB they are applying for.
Age Limit (As on 01.06.2024)
- Office Assistant: 18-28 years
- Officer Scale-I: 18-30 years
- Officer Scale-II: 21-32 years
- Officer Scale-III: 21-40 years
Age Relaxation
- OBC/MOBC: 3 years
- SC/ST: 5 years
- PWD: 10 years
Educational Qualification
- Office Assistant: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; proficiency in local language; basic computer skills preferred.
- Officer Scale-I: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; preference for degrees in relevant fields; proficiency in local language; computer skills preferred.
- Officer Scale-II & III: Bachelor’s degree in relevant disciplines with minimum 50% marks; relevant experience required for specialized roles.
